What is  the current state of Ux Practice? Where do we go from here and how do we endure as a field\, as well while remain relevant? Drawing from 9 years of experience\, Kem will present some thoughts on these topics as well as some actionable pointers on embedding sustainable Ux in industry. \n\nSPEAKER: Kem-Laurin has been worked in Ux for over 9  years with experiences in the areas of Postal Automation Software Design\, Information & Communication Networks\,  Medical CT / MR application design\, as well as Health Information Systems. She is currently the Team Lead for Media User Experience at Research in Motion (http://www.rim.com/).  Kem-Laurin graduated from University of Ottawa & University of Waterloo\, respectively in the Arts. You can also catch her on Johnny Holland magazine\, where she has written a few Ux articles on the general topic of  Sustainable experience design\, a topic which is her passion and pastime\, when not gardening. \n\n
