Delivering great user experiences is part art, part science and darn hard to get right. No two users will ever look at things the same way, so how do you make optimal design decisions for all users at once? In this talk, FreshBooks CEO Mike McDerment will explore how you can set your design team up to succeed and what tools you need to consistently deliver great experiences.  Using real world examples, Mike will look at how a user-centric culture influences your design process, how to test and measure your designs, and how to go beyond design to ensure the entire user experience keeps people engaged for the long run.

Mike McDerment is the co-founder and CEO of FreshBooks, planet earth’s leading online invoicing and bookkeeping app for service oriented professionals, freelancers and teams. Back in 2003, Mike built FreshBooks for his design firm and scratched his own itch. Since launching in May 2004 FreshBooks has touched over 1,000,000 lives and Mike and his team dedicate themselves to being a great service for people who love their work, and want to focus on it – instead of focusing on their paperwork
